Dr Nadeem Younis qualified in 1993 from the University of Sheffield and joined Bridge Dental Practice in 1994 and became a partner in 1997.

He has completed courses in orthodontics (straightening crooked teeth), restorative dentistry and cosmetic dentistry. His commitment to postgraduate education led to the award of the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996 and the Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies from the University of Bristol in 2007. In 2016, he was awarded an MSc from Bristol University.

Dr Younis has a special interest in orthodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

He also works in the orthodontics department at Burnley general hospital. He has been accepting referrals from fellow dentists for over 20 years.

His dedication to cosmetic dentistry has led to the attainment of the full membership of the British Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and gold membership of the British Dental Bleaching Society. He has been a trainer to newly qualified dentists in the past and currently lectures widely on aesthetic dentistry.

Due to Nadeems attention to detail and perfectionism, other dentists and professionals come to Nadeem for their dental treatment which is a great compliment.

Dr Dhanish Jabbar qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2020 with honours, distinction grades and has been a finalist for an array of prestigious awards for achievements within and outside of dentistry.

He has a strong passion for minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry and helping anxious patients feel at ease.

Alongside general dentistry he also provides smile makeover treatments to enhance smiles. This includes Invisalign treatment (involving straightening teeth), whitening and the ever popular composite bonding, which can often be done without any drilling of the natural tooth.

In the limited time he gets away from dentistry Dhanish enjoys swimming, jujitsu, creating artwork and hanging out with family & friends.

Dr Sara Rauf qualified from the University of Manchester in 2011 and joined the practice as an associate in 2015.

She has a keen interest in developing her skills in restorative dentistry as well as facial aesthetics. Sara is currently undertaking a 1 year cosmetic and restorative course and is also in the process of completing courses in Dermal fillers/Botox techniques and intends to offer these services in the near future.

In her spare time, Sara enjoys socialising with friends and family, nature walks and travelling.

My name is Richard Wilson, and I have recently joined the team at The Bridge Dental Practice.

I’m local to the area- having grown up in the village of Blacko and now living in Fence.

I qualified from the University of Manchester in 2015 and undertook my FD/VT year in Gatley, South Manchester. I took a job as a DCT/SHO at Royal Blackburn in 2016 and never left! After the first year I took a job as a middle grade doctor there and have been full time ever since.

My work is divided between Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Hospitals where I undertake LA and GA dento-alveolar lists, a weekly trauma list and on-call responsibilities. I have been placing implants in the hospital setting for some time and am now offering a dental implant service at The Bridge Dental Practice.

Dr Kishore Shanbhag is a highly experienced implantologist and oral surgeon who provides a full range of implant related treatment. Kishore is also an Associate Specialist in the department of Oral Surgery at the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust. Dr Shanbhag has wide experience in clinical mentoring and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire and a mentor for the Association of Dental Implantology. He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England.

Cath started dental nursing in 1980 and joined the bridge dental practice in 1982. Qualified, passing the national (NEBDSA) in 1993 she then went on to becoming OHE certified in 1994. Her career continued to progress through to management. Although her main duties are managing the team she still continues nursing as an implant lead and training new members of staff. She also likes to have a chat with her regular patients. Cath enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and baking.

Special Interest - Implants, wine tasting and also likes to use the staff as guinea pigs for her baking.
